Awards & Recognitions
Over the years, Rudolph and Sletten and the projects we've built have been honored numerous times. Whether it's for safety or project innovation, we appreciate each and every award. After all, everyone likes to be acknowledged for their hard work. But ultimately we look to our clients for the highest measure of success — returning with new projects. Below is a list of awards, they each recognize the hard work and dedication of the architects, the developers and owners, the subcontractors and, of course, every Rudolph and Sletten employee.

2010Named the Largest Biotech Contractor in the Bay Area by San Francisco Business Journal. Rudolph and Sletten recieved the recognition in part for their work on the UCSF Smith Cardiovascular Reasearch Building Best of 2010 Award of Merit in Healthcare awarded to El Camino Hospital by McGraw Hill Publishing and California Construction Magazine. Rudolph and Sletten project, University of San Diego’s Student Life Pavilion, were awarded Building of America Award for Southern California. El Camino Hospital is awarded Building of America Award for Northern California and will be featured in Real Estate & Construction Review. Children's Hospital Los Angeles project is highlighted at the Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) Facilities Design conference and in Chicago at the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo (HFSE) Station Landing, the new headquarters for AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah, achieved LEED Gold certification with 43 points from the U.S. Green Building Council. Modern Healthcare Magazine ranks Rudolph and Sletten as the 4th Top General Contractor in the US for healthcare construction. CMAA San Diego awards Francis Parker School Phase 6 with a Project Achievement Award, Honorable Mention in the Buildings/New Construction category. California Construction, a McGraw Hill publication, ranked Rudolph and Sletten as the 8th Top Green Contractor in California Rudolph and Sletten is named General Contractor of the Year by the American Subcontractor Association, Sacramento Region. Rudolph and Sletten is awarded the 2010 Construction Employers’ Association (CEA) Excellence in Safety Award University of California San Francisco Cardiovascular Research Building selected to present at Tradeline’s Academic Medical and Health Science centers Conference in Boston |
2009Excellence in Safety Award is presented to Rudolph and Sletten by the Construction Employers' Association. Sierra College Tahoe Truckee campus is awarded LEED Gold Certification becoming the first California community college to receive gold. Bank of the West Tower is awarded the Best of 2009 Award of Merit for Office Construction by California Construction. Rudolph and Sletten’s restoration of the “Birthplace of the Silicon Valley”, the garage where HP began was awarded the 26th Preservation Design Award for Restoration. North Bay Business Journal chooses Rudolph and Sletten’s Agilent Project Viva as a Top Project of 2009 in the office renovation category. ENR names Rudolph and Sletten and its parent company, Tutor Perini Corporation, as the 2nd largest “Green” Contractor in the United States. Buildings Magazine awards Rudolph and Sletten with a Project Innovation Grand Prize Award for the new construction of Jay Paul Company’s Moffet Towers . Two Rudolph and Sletten projects, Jay Paul Company’s Summit Rancho Bernardo and Communication Arts Building at Cuyamaca College were awarded Building of America Award for Southern California. Jay Paul Company’s Moffett Towers is awarded Building of America Award for Northern California and will be featured in Real Estate & Construction Review. Jay Paul Company’s Moffett Towers Parcel 1 is awarded LEED Gold Certification by the USGBC. Francis Parker School, a Rudolph and Sletten education building project, is awarded the American Institute of Architects’ award for Architecture for Education. Rudolph and Sletten’s expansion of the California Polytechnic University, Pomona’s Library receives The Western Council of Construction Consumers’ Distinguished Project Award. California Construction Magazine lists Rudolph and Sletten as the 3rd top contractor in the state. Jay Paul Company’s Moffett Towers Club is awarded LEED Gold Certification by the USGBC. Rudolph and Sletten receives a Safety Award from the Construction Employer’s Association. |
2008Buildings awards Rudolph and Sletten’s Hewlett Packard House/Garage their Project Innovation Award. Rudolph and Sletten’s Pacific Shores Center headquarters receives Building Interiors’ Citation of Excellence Design Award. Rudolph and Sletten's biotech project, the Molecular Foundry, wins the prestigious Secretary of Energy's Excellence in Acquisition Award, given by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for demonstrating exceptional results in completing a project within cost and schedule. |
2007Jay Paul Company’s Moffet Towers, a Rudolph and Sletten corporate office development projects, is named Structures Magazine’s Green Project of the Year and Green Project of the Year. Jay Paul Company was named Developer of the Year. USC, Harlyne J. Norris Research Tower is the recipient of the San Fernando Design Award for Excellence in Design in the Architecture category from the American Institute of Architects. Moffett Park Towers, one of Rudolph and Sletten's corporate office development projects, is ranked #3 in the Top Projects in California by California Construction. Rudolph and Sletten is ranked #1 Top Contractor for Healthcare by Revenue by California Construction. Rudolph and Sletten is ranked #5 in Top Ten General Contractors in California by California Construction. California Construction ranks El Camino Replacement Hospital, one of Rudolph and Sletten's healthcare projects, as the 5th Largest Project to Break Ground. Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal ranks Moffett Towers, one of Rudolph and Sletten's corporate office development projects, #1 in the Top Construction Projects list, ranked by total square feet of physical facilities. Boston Scientific Office, a corporate development project by Rudolph and Sletten, isranked #14 in the Top Construction Projects list by Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. The Molecular Foundry at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Campus in Berkeley, one of Rudolph and Sletten's biotech projects, ranks #9 in the Top East Bay Construction Projects list by East Bay Business Times. |
