City of South San Francisco, Parking Garage

Rudolph and Sletten is providing construction management services for the new downtown South San Francisco parking structure at 329 Miller Avenue.

Designed by Watry Design, Inc., this will be the City of South San Francisco’s first city-owned parking structure and will include various “green” construction elements. The construction will use fly ash in the concrete mix, install energy efficient lighting and install geothermal loops for efficient cooling of the retail spaces. Solar panels will be installed on the top level of the parking structure.

The parking garage, constructed on an existing surface parking lot, consists of a five-level, open-air, concrete structure building with commercial and office space of approximately 100,100 gross square feet. There will be 254 parking stalls and approximately 14,350 square feet of commercial and office space on the ground floor. The structure will meet the current ADA and UBC standards.
